Great brunch spot. Music is on point, but the best thing is the food. Service was a little slow, but that was due to being understaffed. The oxtails and grits were perfect. Collard greens seasoned very well.
The food that I had was very good and made pretty fast. The environment itself was not too bad, and the seating was optional as to being at the bar or away from the bar, and they even had a nice little area to dance with live music plan, and the setting was very chillvibes and I really enjoyed myself. The only thing that I have to say about this place was that the parking was terrible but overall experience I would definitely go back again and the fact that it's literally right around the corner from my house. It's very convenient for me in the uptown area.
Stopped in the meet a friend and have a drink. Ended up ordering the oxtail dinner meal. Definitely some of the best oxtail I've had in Charlotte outside of my kitchen. Having a carribean background and coming from NY I know good oxtails when I taste them. Huge portion! Please atmosphere and great customer service. They also switched up the decor and are no longer cash only.
This place was a great addition to the Queen city upon it's arrival. Throughout the years I've attended a number of events here from networking, CIAA, All White Party, Brunch, etc.. My first visit I was carrying my son and it was for a Sunday football game party in which my husband and I ended up ordering food. We were shocked by the flavors of the food in a Sports Bar. The chef was phenomenal, all the food was unique and full of flavor. The space isn't super large, however it is good for what it's for. The music is always great and the bartenders are attentive and make great drinks. Peter did good ;-)
